Well, I have to admit that I was a little nervous about creating one of these. I'm not sure why. Maybe nervousness that no one would read it, or that it would consume my life, or that I would not update it enough. So I'm testing the waters a little bit with blogging and we'll see how it goes.
I have a little more time on my hands now because I am finished teaching band and choir for the year. My concert was April 29th and my kids were spectacular! I teach 5th grade band so I get to start the kids on instruments, and it is just about the best thing ever! I teach K-5 music classes during the day so I have to schedule band practices in the morning before school. I also teach 4th and 5th grade choir. It was a challenge for me last year since I am an instrumentalist, but this year was so much better.
Our wedding is coming up in 48 days! I feel like I should be working on wedding things, but we have everything pretty much up to speed. We just need to wait on last minute RSVPs so we can get a final guest list count. We're estimating around 80 people so it should be a good crowd!
